Every year, professionals in horticulture, sourcing and sales come from all over the world to the Horti Fair in the Amsterdam RAI in the Netherlands. The trade fair offers a complete range, with almost 1000 exhibitors from 50 countries. More than 50,000 visitors from upwards of 100 countries are also drawn by the hundreds of new products and services being launched at the Horti Fair. This is the worldwide horticultural showcase, presented in a convenient layout for the four days of the exhibition.

And Orbi Solutions will be one of the exhibitors demonstrating its complete package ranging from the innovative Verdict package till very competive microscopes, safety cabinets for chemicals, scales etc. We will be happy to welcome you  to our booth. Hall 1; booth 0134. Close to the House of Flowers and the House of Trade.

In this way we will be able to use one single website for all countries across Europe and beyond.

 

Syntens (the Innovation Platform of the Dutch Ministry of Economics) and the Business Magazine BIZZ (Reed Business Information) have organised a Contest of the most innovative SME-company of the Netherlands. Amongst 99 other companies also Orbi Solutions BV was nominated with the innovative Verdict – package which enables exporting companies to monitor the Cold Chain of their products till their customers’ door.

The jury consisted of Mr. C. Aptroot (Member of Parliament for the VVD –Liberal Party), Mr. B. Stomphorst (CEO of Sandd), Mr. J. Craandijk (inventer of the Beertender) and Mr. A. Kors (Chief Editor of Bizz). The jury looked at following criteria to differentiate the 100 nominated companies:

• How new and inventive is the innovation?
• What is the impact of the innovation?
• What is the Business potential of the innovation?

In the final on June 19th Orbi Solutions has won a 10th position in this Innovation Contest.

From 29th till 31th of May, the annual Wold Seed Congress will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark. Orbi Solutions will be present to meet existing and new customers. After a successful introduction in the first year we are looking forward to further implement this supply chain solution into the seedtrade. We expect to meet a lot of international customers present in Copenhagen.

On 8th and 9th of May, Orbi Solutions will be present at the 2nd international cold chain management congress in Bonn, Germany. We are invited to give a presentation of the Verdict® system during the workshop “Monitoring the Cold Chain”. If you are interested to meet us, please contact us to make an appointment.

After many hours of hard labour our new website is in the air. Here you will find more detailed information about the Verdict® system. Also, you will be able to take notice of our other product lines, like innovative packagings, safety cabinets, microscopes and balances. We are interested to know how you experience the user-friendliness of our site.

Invited by some customers we presented the Verdict® package at the International Fruit Logistica in Berlin. After four inspiring days, we turned home with a lot of new contacts in fruit and vegetable trade. Berlin will hear more from us next year!

In November 2005, Orbi Solutions presented the Verdict® package at the Hortifair in Amsterdam. With over a hundred product demos given, we made a lot of many new contacts and some new customers. As a conclusion, we look back at our first booth as a great success. Orbi Solutions plans to be present at Hortifair 2006 again.
